Our Aegis management team at Cardinal Point has specially trained staff to oversee the unique requirements of the Care Center.

As a resident of Cardinal Point, you will have the opportunity on a priority basis to utilize the services offered at the Care Center. If you or your spouse should ever need these services, it is good to know they are close by and operated by a leader in the assisted living industry. Also, as a resident of Cardinal Point, you have the option to move as a couple to the Care Center, even though one of you may not require assisted living services. The Care Center is available to any Cardinal Point resident for a health evaluation, or a short-term or extended stay if needed

Personal choice dining
Our dining room is open for three meals daily.  It features entrée choices ranging from home cooked traditional foods, nutritionally healthy choices, and our Chef’s own creations to old favorites.  Beverages and snacks are available throughout the day in our Café.

24-hour staffing
Áegis staff is available to respond to resident needs 24 hours per day.

Emergency communication system
Wireless call buttons are strategically placed in each residence. Pendants are available.

Group and individualized activities
Individual life histories, hobbies, and special interests are incorporated into our activity program that includes entertainment, outings, arts and crafts, games and more.

Scheduled transportation
An Áegis vehicle provides scheduled transportation.

Weekly housekeeping and laundry
Each residence is thoroughly cleaned weekly.  Laundry service includes linens, towels, and personal clothing.

Utilities
Each residence features individually controlled heating and air conditioning.  Access to cable television and phone hook-ups are available in each residence.  Residents are responsible for premium cable and monthly phone charges.


Individualized Care Services

Individualized care services are based on a personalized assessment done prior to move in. These services are assessed on a point system so residents only pay for what they specifically need. 

These personal services include, but are not limited to:

  • Bathing
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Personal hygiene
  • Special diets
  • Medication management
  • Diabetes care
  • Oxygen management
  • Dressing changes
  • Management of incontinence/assistance with toileting
  • Transferring/assistance with ambulation
  • Escorts to meals, activities and appointments
  • Coordinating services for
    • Physical Therapy
    • Speech Therapy
    • Psychological Services
    • Podiatrist
